Description
Our range of ready-to-build kits help you construct a raised bed quickly and easily. They include all the parts necessary for each kit ordered and can be put together without tools.
Link-a-bord 30cm high raised bed kits provide an excellent depth of growing media for a wide range of subjects such as longer rooted vegetables (carrots, parsnips etc), shallow rooted fruit bushes and flowers. Small varieties of potatoes will happily grow in 30cm as will beans and peas. Each kit is supplied with all the relevant parts necessary and can be put together quickly and easily.
We recommend the 1mtr internal Support Braces or Stretcher Kits – which are not included with the kits but are available separately – on assemblies of 1.5m and over and extra height beds to give additional stability to the product. If you do not wish to use the support braces there maybe slight bowing of the beds but this will in no way affect their functionality. These are available to purchase in our Build Your Own section.
The number of Support Braces or Stretcher Kits required are:-
1m x 2m bed = 1, 1m x 3m bed = 2, 1m x 4m bed = 3 and 1m x 5m bed = 4
